Next up we have a special live mix from Ukrainian born Gena Ivanov aka Brother G. From an early age Gena had a passion for music and remembers a time around 1991 when the first cassette decks hit his country after the fall of the former USSR. His first true love was hip hop which he explored for a few years until he discovered electronic music like jungle, trance, techno and ambient. By 1995 he had fallen in love with this new modern sound. In 1997 Gena and his friend started to play around with production experimenting with IDM, hip hop and jungle based structures and had 2 releases as Golova 278 on the very first Ukrainian electronic music label Sale/Nova Records. When Gena moved to Kiev in 2000 he started his solo productions working more on house and techno and have led to his sound today. They take influence from 90′s house/techno, hip hop and ambient. In the mix Gena pulls together a perfect blend of unreleased tracks from himself Chicago Deep & Taelue, Alex Danilov, East Soul Person and more.
